The Appointed Person First Aid course is a 1 day course designed to teach basic first aid skills to persons acting in a supporting role to qualified first aiders.  The course is both fun and educational and helps to build the confidence needed to deal with a first aid situation.  It focuses on the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the requirement to act in a first aid support role and will cover areas such as: the aims and principles of first aid; incident/casualty management; CPR; assessment and treatment of wounds/bleeding, shock, fractures, burns and scalds; how to apply dressings.  Successful completion of the course qualifies the holder to act as an 'Appointed Person' in the workplace.  This course can be held at your premises.
