National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers & Coaches (NRASTC).  This is an assessment in practical lifesaving skills that may be needed by anyone teaching or coaching swimming or another programmed activity in a pool.  It is endorsed by the Amateur Swimming Association, the Institute of Sport and Recreation Management and the Institute of Swimming Teachers and Coaches.  It is also recognised in 'Managing Health and Safety in Swimming Pools' as being appropriate for those supervising swimming pool programmed activities.

First Aid Appointed Persons.  This is a 1 day course designed for persons acting in a supporting role to qualified first aiders. It focuses on the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the requirement to act in a first aid support role and will cover areas such as: aims/principles of first aid; incident/casualty management; CPR; assessment/treatment of wounds/bleeding, shock, fractures, burns and scalds; how to apply dressings.  Successful completion of the course qualifies the holder to act as an 'Appointed Person' in the workplace.  This course can be held at your premises.1 dayDependent on group size (max 12)
